Das Popcafé ist die erste Kneipe, die ich vor vier Jahren bei meinem Florenz-Debüt kennen und schätzen lernte.

Die Chefin des Filmfestivals „River to River“, das ich seitdem alljährlich besuche, hat in der Nähe ihr Büro und nahm nach der Spätvorstellung ab und zu noch mal eine bunt zusammengewürfelte Truppe ins Popcafé mit (indische Regisseure, studentische Hilfskräfte, ausländische Journalisten).

Als ich gestern Abend in Florenz ankam und im Hotel eingecheckt hatte, war es mir zu meinem Bedauern zu spät für einen ausgesdehnten Restaurantbesuch. Denn ich wollte noch die 23-Uhr-Vorstellung des Filmfestivals „River to River“ mitnehmen.

Auf dem Weg zum Kino fand ich genau das Richtige für solche Fälle.
