International Journalism Festival for foodies and barflies: #IJF18 guide to Perugia

From Wednesday (April 11, 2018) until Sunday (April 15), beautiful Perugia hosts the free International Journalism Festival for the 12th time. You’ll get all the basic infos here:

I prepared a map with all the festival locations and added my personal restaurant and bar recommendations before #IJF17, based on my 2016 experiences – and just added new places which I discovered during #IJF17 (I’ll add comments later). Die jährliche Hamburger Weinmesse VinoRell schätze ich, seit sie sich noch am Hauptsitz von Rindchen’s Weinkontor in Bönningstedt zwischen die Lagerregale zwängte.

Seit dem Umzug in die günstiger gelegene Handelskammer Hamburg sind die Stände der über 100 teilnehmenden Winzer etwas „luftiger“ angeordnet, aber am heutigen ersten Samstag der 22. VinoRell 2016 gab es vor allem in der zweiten (West-)Halle auch sehr viel enge Situationen.

Dennoch gehört die VinoRell weiterhin zu meinen jährlichen Hamburger Lieblings-Events. Für aktuell 11,50 Euro (Vorverkauf: 9,50 Euro) kann man Probierschlucke aus dem Rindchen-Repertoire genießen und dabei mit Winzern aus aller Welt plauschen.
