„Nothing Is Quick In The Desert“ will be available until July 4. I am listening to it right now – what I’ve heard so far is great!

Rolling Stone reports:

The 13-track album features guest appearances from Ice-T, PMD of EPMD, Easy Mo Bee, Sammy Vegas and Solé. Longtime collaborator David „CDOC“ Snyder produced the record, with help from Stetsasonic’s Daddy-O, DJ Pain 1, Mike Redman, Dejuan Boyd, JP Hesser and Public Enemy’s Professor Griff and DJ Lord.

Public Enemy are my favorite hip hop act of all time, and I have interviewed Chuck D and Flavor Flav several times since they entered the hip hop scene. Check out this interview with Chuck which I did for my P.Funk newsletter New Funk Times in 1990.
